What locking in means
A lock-in challenge — monk mode, by its older name — is a fixed window where a short list of behaviors becomes non-negotiable. No debating, no special occasions, no "just this once". The power is in the smallness of the list and the hardness of the edges.
Choose rules you control
"Train for 30 minutes" is a rule. "Get stronger" is a wish. Every non-negotiable should be something you can verifiably do on your worst day, because the worst days are the ones the lock-in exists for.
30, 60, or 90?
Pick 30 for your first lock-in. A finished 30-day window earns the right to attempt 60 or 90 — an abandoned 90 teaches you nothing except how to quit.
